If you listen through amything other than Apple then you'll need to sign up through Supercast. They'll tell you what to do based on your preferred listening platform.
Why Premium?
No doubt you've seen news stories about how little recording artists receive through streaming. With podcasts, the creators are paid nothing at all, so must rely on inserting adverts into their shows to make them pay. Even so, this brings in very little revenue, and can be frustrating for listeners, especially when it's a children's story podcast being played at bedtime.
At Animal Tales, we try to make the advert breaks as unobtrusive as possible. Or, for a tiny fee, you can listen advert free. It's subscribers that make Animal Tales possible as it helps us to cover the time to write the stories, record them, upload them, and manage the various tasks associated with putting the podcast together.
For those of you that are already Premium listeners we're tremendously grateful. For those of you thinking about it, we aim to keep the costs affordable. In fact, when you're getting over 150 new stories a year, plus access to the entire back catalogue, it's something of a bargain.
